TREES NEEDED AT THE ARANAZ PROGRAM CENTER - If you visit the Arnaz Program
Center you will notice something different! The trees in the parking lot
have been removed due to root rot, bleeding trunks, poor health in
general! Please join us in our celebration to move forward with the future!
We are looking for a few good friends of Girl Scouting to donate trees
to replace the ones being removed. We need 7 larger size trees to plant
between our friends! If you want more information on size and variety

Career Day - Calling all Girl Scout volunteers! Do you love your job? Do
you have a fascinating career that you would like to share with Senior
and Cadette Girl Scouts during Career Day 2001? Do you know how to write

Gold and Silver Award Recognition Tea - The first annual Recognition Tea
will be held May 12, 2001 at 2:00 pm. This gala will honor Cadette and
Senior Girl Scouts who completed their Silver or Gold Award Reports
between January 1, 1999 and April 13, 2000. Invitations will be mailed
to all honors. honorees attendance free, the cost for guest will be $15.00.
Due to the large number of honorees the celebration will be held at a location
to be determined in the Ventura area. this is an event not to be missed!

Calling all Day Camps - The Day Camp core Team Training is planned
for February 3, 2001. This training is for all members of the Day Camp
Core Team (Directors, Assistant Directors, business Managers, Registrars
and Program Managers) that are new or have not received training. If you

Safety-Wise Books - Earlier this year received your new. Safety-Wise books
and they did not contained a label requesting that if you no longer have
a need for the book to please return it to the Santa Barbara, Santa maria,
San Luis Obispo or Camarillo Service Centers. These books can used by other
leaders if you no longer need them. Thank you for your attention to this
matter.
